The evening is built around PACT: Poetry and Sax, an original album created to encourage people to grow by making a pact with themselves:
A pact to be vulnerable.
A pact to be honest.
A pact to connect more deeply with others.

I chose poetry because poets are fearless when it comes to vulnerability. They bare their souls, speak honestly, and uplift one another in community. This showcase is a live, semi-theatrical performance of the album, where each poet takes the stage to recite their work and fully open themselves to the audience.
This is more than an event — it’s a catalyst for personal growth, perfect for poetry lovers and for anyone who believes the arts can inspire them to live happier, more connected lives.
This showcase will be presented like “The Most Vulnerable Open Mic in the World!"

Over 10 poets. Live music all night. A playful, theatrical show with Zeta the Babe and her band — plus a 20-minute intermission to grab snacks and drinks.
*A portion of proceeds will also be donated to Studio@620, a local nonprofit that empowers diverse artists and creative voices.

At your table, you’ll find a set of headphones waiting for you. Before each live performance, you’ll hear a pre-recorded monologue — the artist’s own reflections, emotions, or inspirations behind their piece. Then, when they step on stage, you’ll experience their work with a deeper understanding, almost as if you’re inside their creative process.
